- beware of using stick-on paper label systems. I've had no problem with them but other people have and many competitions will not accept discs with such labels. You can buy printable - or better "white printable" DVDs which can be printed in many ink-jet printers. Otherwise use your best...

Connected with this topic...... TV companies like the national BBC Tag their transmissions. When they transmit their pictures, they put some sort of eletronic marker in the signal to tell televisions that it`s a Widescreen Transnission. Local BBC like BBC South (when they do their local News items) ...

Young people want to be involved with a modern and dynamic organisation, not an old-ladies coffee morning! :-) Here Here! I`m 41 and feel like a teenager still. I`m the youngest in the club. I better note say to much about the other members and there ages, otherwise people will think that I have a ...

It is Willy. As I said, as a club, we are financilly sound and have coffers for four years without any income. We`ve just been lucky, lucky, lucky. But as members go, our numbers are getting lower. My wife says....` Are you going to the old mens club tonight!` `Yes`, I have to answer. I`m the younge...

I can go along with that Brian. Please keep it in the paper form. I don`t receive the mag but I sometimes have access to it. It is a good mag. When I have my weekly soak in the bath, what else should I read in it? It may get the odd soaking! Please don`t take that away from me!

Be good....

Don`t be silly Dave! Our club doesn`t meet outside hours! Too British to show emotion and get on in an outside event! We have just had one member leave because he felt he has learn`t all that there is to know for what he wants to do. That is to edit his grandchildren and make films about them that a...

It sounds as through you need to make that film! It looks like you have plenty of people there affected by it! When you have filmed the people, you could ask the mayor for an interview about his desisions. It could be a good documentry. Our cub is lucky. Our membership is getting lower, or dieing! b...

I think YouTube is possibly the best. Everyone looks there. I use it. But it may not be the best place to have your films if you want the Big Bods to notice you.

Music is a fundamental key to a good film, 99% of the time. It helps create drama and helps the viewer get into the film better. Watch a film with the sound off and it sucks! Try it with the opening credits and first two minutes of Starwars. It brings together ALL of the human senses (er...except sm...

Re: When is the best Time for Festivals & Competitions

The title of this thread is a bit of a mouthful, do we have to copy it exactly to retain the thread? I also wonder who would alter a finished production as a result of a judges comment. I`ll make it easier for you Michael.... It`s not the WITBTFFAC thread. Is THAT easier!   I may n...
