The BBFC have a website giving prices and all conditions etc. I do not have the address handy, but it is easily found using Google etc.
I did notice there was a discount for charities!

The picture was taken at the Projected Picture Trust at Bletchley Park, in September 2007.
It is definitely worth a visit to Bletchley Park!

The Film Council have a "Completion Fund" -- presumably that will cover things like getting BBFC classification.
Contact them via your regional branch (called Screen South in these parts).
They may also have ideas and contacts -- possibly assistance -- for getting distribution.

Yes indeed!
However, it does seem to be pity that, for many (most?) amateur films, competitions and festivals provide the ONLY audience for them.
Do others agree?
What can we do about it?

Time passing by!

Actually, fading out to black and then in again is rather more than just showing the passage of time (although a lot of people think that is what it is for). It is more like a new chapter in a story. For time passing, in most cases you can stick to a simple lap-dissolve. Avoid fancy transitions as t...

Right! Pictures are uploaded to your OWN webspace, and linked into from there. You click the [Img] immediately before your picture link (starting with http://) and click [Img] again immediately after it, leaving no spaces. It is a pleasure to see pictures of members` lady friends who will no doubt a...

Billy Ellwood has got it -- not quite right! Pictures and text DO (or should) come out on the same screen! That is how HTML works: it matters not at all on which server the picture is: it is pulled into text from (the same or) another server and all appears as one document! Ain`t science wonderful? ...

Don`t forget to save the hard drive from your old machine. You can connect it to your new one via a USB enclosure (plug n play) and have access to all your old files.
If you use it for video work run the drive with the cover off. It tends to overheat otherwise!

How sensible to dump Vista! I have got lumbered with it after my old system crashed and found my old programs which ran perfectly on XP (some dating from days of Windows 95) would not work. Stick to XP. Vista gives no end of trouble -- it assumes you are permanently on a fast broadband connection an...

That`s jolly good. An excellent font resource.
Do you realise there is a font called "Bad Films"?
Now what could we possibly use that for?

You forgot the bit where the couple are holding the baby.
My late father used to exclaim "Quick work" at this stage.
Of course nowadays it comes well before the wedding......

You are quite right! It may be possible to reduce or eliminate remaining vocals by adjusting the balance control. However, the musicians` microphones will mostly pick up some vocals as well, so it probably is not possible to eliminate vocals altogether. It will be OK for karaoke, however! Now we kno...
