Blu-ray BD-RE cheapest
Can anyone tell me where to buy the cheapest BD-RE disc. I've seen some quite reasonably priced Verbatim on EBAy. But as they are offered from Japan, I'm concerned how geniune verbatim they are. It's a pity that Aone don't produce BD-RE as their BD-R discs are good.

Re: copying Blu-Ray videos
I am in a quandary now. I had decided to buy the LG burner that Col Lamb had installed. And then I read on the vegas forum that Ian Stark says that he has the model BH10LS30 and all though it's compatible with Windows 7 it is not working with DVDA. In fact he is getting the same problems as I am wit...

Re: When are documentaries not movies?
slightly off tangent but all the television news channels having been cheating for years by prentending they have reporters all over the world reporting live from the scene. Most of the time the reporter is in the studio using Green screen. Sometimes it's quite noticable when the reporter is suppose...

Re: copying Blu-Ray videos
Tim. Thanks for your interest. I'm using Windows 7.32bit. I have had quite a few people on various forums saying that my rewriter LG GGW-H20L is not compatible with W.7 and I myself seem to get the imprssion from the LG website itself that it's not compatible. In that case I don't know whether it's ...

Re: copying Blu-Ray videos
DAVE. Thanks for your very informative reply. I shall see if a brainier (PC WISE) person can follow this up. Meanwhile I have had info from several sources icluding the Manufacturer of the burner (LG) that the model rewriter I have is not compatible with Windows 7. The model number is LG GGW-H20L Co...

Re: copying Blu-Ray videos
Michael. It's a long story. I have a Blu-ray internal re-writer and have burnt many of my own produced HD videos. These were all produced using Windows XP. After installing Windows 7 something has gone wrong I don't know if its the rewriter or the DVD architect. However the re-writer will now only r...

Re: copying Blu-Ray videos
Colin. I've tried to get on with IMGBURN but it's got me beat. In fact I've having so much hassle in trying to burn HD using Vegas and DVD architect I'm on the point of ditching HD. Everything was great until I installed Windows 7 pro, since then everything has gone haywire. Everything I could do wh...

Re: Blu-ray blanks
Tom. I bought a tub of Aone Blu-ray blanks and my LG burner won't accept them. It might not be the burner perhaps it's DVD architect that won't accept them. I don't know which is the culprit. I do know that my LG burner is a bit picky about what blanks I use. It's a shame really that I can't use the...

Re: problem result when videoing a still photo
Ned. Your method is extremely useful and an excellent way of checking what will be shown in the finished product. It is not so simple, if not impossible, for my friend to use when he copies a lot of still photos in museums. He makes a lot of historical docs.

I have had posts dissappear after clicking the submit button. It happened last night. I think I forgot to put a heading title in appropriate panel, Would that cause the post not to be sent? Imediately after, I sent another with the title and it appeared where it should do within a minute of clicking...

problem result when videoing a still photo
I don't have this problem because when setting up the camcorder to video the still photo I usually zoom well in. However a friend tells me that after setting up the camcorder with great care he edits the result using a casablanca and on the timeline the still photo looks exactly as he videod it. How...
