I can agree. The Editor has a very Powerful job. He is given all this footage and is given the job of making sense of it all and turning it into a work of art! The film could have so many different beginnings and endings and be cut really tight or linger on certain scenes. He can readjust the framin...

I find the whole thing about converting our films into different foremats, a pain in the **** and it gives me a headacke! I have loads of programmes that I forget how to use and loads of different versions of my films on my computer, taking up valuable harddrive space. I hate it......... Be good.......

Nice words Willy. What you cannot do in the real world, you make up for in your films. I`d sooner then make a good film, then be able to hold a hammer. LET the wife do it, they need to learn this sort of thing anyway!. You are correct Willy. We send emails and reply to messages on this forum, someti...

No problem Mike. It`s no problem. I can understand if your involved with mags etc. I made a boo-boo once with my film titles. I soon got the lesson learned and triple checked my spellings. On the computer however, all of us (at least me) are used to speed typing! You can just make out what I am sayi...

You are of course right Dave, but...... .... the rules of useing Forums is that you don`t make fun or point at people`s dissabilities. It`s not set in stone, but I thought Mike would know this being as old as he is   The reason for this is just so obvious. You don`t talk about Religion, ...

However, without being disrespectful, I would suggest you switch on your Spell Checker first! (why leave it to the editor to check grammar and spelling - he has enough to do!) Good luck. For YOUR information, a computer needs Office (AFAIK) for a spell check to work. This one doesn`t so no spell ch...

Sorry to catch this thread at last but i`ve been busy with editing and climbing Snowdon. I havn`t read every post in this thread. I must agree with Fraught. The last time I saw the mag, it was good, but it did seem to eye on the edge of the older person. The last one I saw had a series about recordi...

Hi Willy Sad times indeed.... have you thought about using the internet to escalate this ?..... petitions etc... I am sure you have ... but your greedy mayor (who is put in position by the people!!) needs to be shown the door! good luck ... I`ve mentioned to Willy about making a film to discredit t...

Thanks Dave,
I tried what you said and it made the blue and bit better. It did what an even bluer sky, but it did improve it. I tried going past the limits you put on it and it started to make me blue. It wasn`t that cold!

Thanks.

Be good........

After viewing the film the audience should have only one question in their mind, "why didn't I think of that?" as opposed to "what was the point of that?" :D Because I class myself as a Filmmaker   8) 8) I have done this when I ave watched a film. Or I hear a piece o...

Blue Skies

Dear all, I`m just doing some editing for my Hopenews. I want to make my blue skies slightly bluer! I`m useing Prem Pro 1.5, but the package shouldn`t make much difference. Now you guys, which effect would be the best one to use? Change colour, colour replace etc. I don`t know. I don`t normally chan...

Re: Movie-Magix

Magix. That was an earlier version. My compatriot has the latest version and uses to get his stars from BAIFF! – Welcome aboard! I managed to get a free copy of Magix the full bells and whistles version to evaluate and to write a review for the company! I`ve yet to use it properly, but what I saw w...

I`m a bit bad at spelling, I may be a bit dislesic! I find the word `enough` is a hard one to spell. I then spell check my words and I think that the spell checker isn`t much better!

Be good all.....

Another reason (2 actually!) I want a new computer is this..... 1. I found out that my XP Pro powered Internet computer has a slow type of memory and only has 194 meg of it! I wonder why it`s chugging along! 2. My `Video` computer isn`t fast enough for HD. So a swap and new computer is the way to go...
