The judges comments were a welcome change to what you usualy get from festivals which is a copy and paste reply either stating yr film was great but didnt make or your film was great and we are showing it. Great weekend at BIAFF in Birmingham Firstly got to thank the organisers on a fantastic event and the most friendly and welcoming festival i have attended. I was impressed by the camerawork in the first. it looked like the cameraman was right there in the ring with them. It also looked like theye were really fighting. If it was staged it was really impressive, if it was real then 'd be surprised if the cameraman didn't come a cropper once in a while. ...

The first one my friend who had the camera was/is a photagrapher who was keen to do filming.

The second one film division were quite experienced in corporate work but i think was their2nd or third short

ll be saying hello to everyone i can Jill and watching as many films as poss,I watched over 30 at bham fest im gonna try and beat that.
Im a boxing coach thats makes films for a laugh so if anybody wants to talk boxing im good for that as well lol

Here's my report about the BFF (The Birmingham Film Festival) Gala Awards evening on Saturday evening at The Canalside, The Cube, Birmingham.
