Ok... you're on!

Now how do i go about getting that elusive slot in the magazine? I've never done it before, but for the belief in all things younger than me! I'm your man! ;-)

I think the topic here is getting into an argument about what makes someone Old or not. I have no doubt that everyone 'feels' young, and on the whole it shouldn't make a difference what age you are. I feel like a 21 year old, but that's not criteria enough to enter an under 21's competition when i'm...

no matter what you do you can't please everybody all the time. The best that an editor can try and do is provide a reasonable balance of articles that will hopefully appeal to the majority. The problem i see here is that there isn't a balance, which is why i started this thread. The latest issue of...

Its a fair point that Garth can only put together things that he is given. The problem is it's difficult for people to just decide to write an article off the top of their head. The magazine needs more direction. You need people to control the content, by suggesting what content is needed and findin...

AFVM

So... thought i'd start a thread about your thoughts and feelings regarding AFVM. I have been 'unhappy' with it for some time now. The articles within seem bland, and aimed at/written by amateur film makers who have just retired, and are looking to spend their cash on High End equipment. I know this...

Good point Ray.

I think it might be worth starting another thread regarding the content of AFVM! Because i have an urge to talk about it! And its going to change the subject from Age to the Magazine.

Just thought i'd revist this one. Sorry if i'm reopening old wounds etc... but i felt enthused after reading the latest copy of AFVM. Ok... where are the young people in the latest issue? Apart from the front cover and an advert in the back of the magazine... i didn't see anyone younger than 50! Obv...

I love using Studio too. Very simple and gives the desired effect!

Re : MOV... just purchase the fully licenced version of Apple Quicktime (only about £15-£20 max) and you can do lots of varying conversions including AVI-MOV.
