Film directors are famous, not scriptwriters etc...
This morning three Flemish film directors were interviewed in a TV-programme. They had made new wonderful films. Fien Troch, Eric Van Looy and Jan Verheyen are the ones. In Belgium they are famous. They talked about their films. In fact I also thought about the scriptwriters, the producers and other...

Newcastle ACA[/b] Well done, Billy. An example of positive thinking. I'm trying to give some more ideas. Perhaps they are not so good, but yes, maybe you are right : God loves a tryer. ° Give A5-flyers for distribution to shops that sell cameras. Give flyers to parents and grandparents who are film...

We have spoilt our children I agree with Brian and I understand Fraught. I am sure that I can find youngsters to contribute to FVM, but ... only if we can pay them for it. Thirty years ago we had two or three brass bands in our villages. They played music because they enjoyed it. They were not paid...

Re: Optimum Length, is longer better?
Samuel What a surprise ! My clubmate Samuel on this forum ! I'm very pleased. In a few weeks we are going to the Guernsey Film Festival together. One more thing about the length of films. Samuel saw my Passchendaele film a few weeks ago. Now it is 15 minutes shorter and it is quite different, Samue...

Re: Optimum Length, is longer better?
Greg, any judge who says 15 minutes is too long before seeing a film has no right being a judge. I've forgotten to tell you something. I always work on my films for months and months. My storyboard is always a very long one. Sometimes more than 400 shots ! My clubmate Samuel, however, makes short f...

In the mean time the Mayor has decided to give 33,000 euros each year to renovate the clubhouses of youth clubs. A very good initiative, but the older people like us must pay for it. On the roof of our own clubhouse trees are growing. We even think that the Mayor will pull down the whole building ...
