Unless i`m missing something, has this camera worked on another computer. If not then it`s the camera. If you plug a camera into a firewire port and it`s turned on or the computer is turned on then you can easily fry one or both equipment. It must only be done with both turned off. I`ve plugged mine...

You may be right Dave. The most dramatic use of the zoom lens is in the following. I don`t know the correct name for this but............. You have a shot of someone, maybe just their face. You zoom in, but this is the clever bit, you walk backwards with the camera, at the same speed as you zoom int...

When is an amateur not an amateur? That is the question! I have been videoing since 1987. In 1988, I got a bank loan to buy the Panasonic M10B (A full size VHS camera with Very good quality Stereo). It made me feel confident so I filmed Christian Youth events for my friend for £10. I also started to...

The biggest cost to us (other then the equipment) is editing! If we paid ourselves the minimum wage for each hour we soent editing a film then it would be really dear! I`m editing a jazz film that is almost two hours long. Adding effects and basic editing is taking almost an hour for two minutes of ...
