Re: green screening

Where did you get your Lights for 100. I've been looking but using cheap security lights and bouncing them off the ceiling. I have found that If I scale my greenscreen carefully it blends a bit better, Using animation for things like Santa in a car going over Mountains works better. The grandchildre...

Re: Edius 6 Importing a sequence.

Thank you, I have re read the small print and realise I am too literal ! I did not expect "import a sequence" to really mean "merge two projects" I have worked round it by creating an avi file of the required sequence and then importing it, however the HD aspects are lost earlier...

Edius 6 Importing a sequence.

In Edius there is the facility to import a sequence from one project to another. However when I come to use this facility it is "greyed out" and imports the whole project that containes the required sequence. As some projects have a lot of clips this tends to "bung up the works" ...

Re: HD Image distortion when projected.

Thank you Col, for your interest in my problem. There are a couple of points that may not have been clear from my posting. The maximum resolution (& the native resolution) of the projector is 1280 X 720. The image with the VGA is not blurred and as good as can be expected from an analogue connec...

Re: Learning Curve - Singapore

Dear Col,

Experience makes things sound so simple. What a wonderful checklist for sound editing.

Thank you.

Why do you not publish that for beginners like myself?

So sorry I cannot be at Grange but I will catch up with you sometime and provide some sustenance!

Re: Learning Curve - Singapore

Col, Thank you for your guidance. You also gave me an additional pleasure in showing me Chester, a town I knew well in the 1950's and Chester Cathedral where my nephew was ordained some years ago. What audio settings do you use in Edius, I am confused about chanels and all the different choices? KR ...

Re: Learning Curve - Tall Ship Antigua

Dear Tim, I wondered about three attempts at film making, will not do it again. Thank you for your helpful comments. I find it very difficult with my films to get set pieces, The Skipper gave me the interview at the end of the trip and I had little control over the location and other ambient noise. M...
