Re: Entering competitions..
The best way to get a huge and free audience is to somehow get your film on You Tube and it go viral (what a horrible word). Most viral items seem to be trivial rubbish to me so one can only hope that the World will recognize your quality, if and when they see it. But how to go viral? "Ay, that...

Re: Entering competitions..
A far as I am concerned it's not getting an award or trophy that is important
but bums on seats......an audience.
I've had my fair share of silverware but I've always said,
"I prefer an audience to a bit of silver as an audience cleans itself,
trophies don't."

Re: 60 years on !
Yes, Michael, I agree. Unless a way of mass CO2 extraction from the atmosphere

60 years on !
Just over 60 years ago I made the first animated typewritten films, 'Red Type' and 'Black Type.' At that time, as green typewriter ribbon was also available I was going to make, Green Type, but couldn't think of a suitable script. How things have changed over the years, GREEN now having new meaning ...

Re: A really amazing coincidence.
That's a nicely presented web site of yours, Michael. So far my favorite film is 'Glass Art' I didn't see any dates for film productions and wonder if you have considered showing them? Yes, I guess we are among the oldest...I'm 89.25 I measure my age in quarter years now as there's probably not too ...

Re: A really amazing coincidence.
Well, hello Michael and Dave. Much water under the bridge.....some of mine a bit muddy :-) Are you still making films, Michael? Or, in this day and age, Videos. Have you any links to them? I'm sorry, but cannot remember you at NFT, a wonderful cinema which I assume is still there....I left London 40...

A really amazing coincidence.
Having just finished an animated film, two weeks ago I started on another, entitled FONTS. To my amazement in the IAC magazine that has just arrived is an article by, Andrew Gagg, all about Fonts!! I thought that quite creepy, as the world of fonts is seldom discussed, much less an animated film of ...

Re: VideoPad
As an ex animator returning to the fold I can only endorse VideoPad by NCH, also their WavePad. For any animator, the one thing that VideoPad has that many other editors do not have is the ability to see the audio track, so enabling correct sync of each frame to the audio waveform. HELP site is very...
