Re: 3D VR
Tim is right. VR will never replace traditional viewing methods... at least not for a long time yet. It does however provide a unique experience that traditional viewing will not touch. It's worth experiencing for sure, even if it's not to your taste.

Re: UK FILM REVIEWS
There’s no way on earth that I would allow anyone else to edit my films. For me, editing is the most enjoyable and most satisfying part of the whole filmmaking process. I used to make films as a one-man band for many years. I could never trust other people to realise my vision. This has changed hug...

Re: How do you "sell" a film festival?
Having run a film festival (listed in the top 100 festivals in the world according to FilmFreeway), I hope I can shed some light. The 2000-4000 entries is way off in my experience. If you make the entrance fee free... then about 2k+ entries is likely as you'll get everything and everyone. But even w...

Re: 3D VR
You know you can buy a thing called 'Google Cardboard' which is a VR Headset made from... ahem... Cardboard... that you slide your own smartphone into as the screen. Works a treat. Obviously, a full-on VR Headset is the best way to go (I use a few, the HTC Vive Cosmos Elite and the Occulus Quest). T...

3D VR
I've been getting into making 3D 180 VR movies lately. It has lots of technical issues, but I've had huge amounts of fun making them. I'm currently in post-production on my first 'narrative driven' 3D VR film, called 'You Can Cancel at Any Time'. I'll post the trailer below. Has anyone else ventured...

Haha! I've no idea!
I would probably be fine... even though my mind does get carried away at times.

Re: About Death (Sobre la Muerte)
'Dead Air' is still doing the rounds on the festival circuit, yet there are some fests that get really protective and won't screen your film if it's available online for all to see. I do tend to keep my films private until I've exhausted all festival avenues. 'Dead Air' was available on Amazon Prime...

Re: About Death (Sobre la Muerte)
On another note regarding IMDB, don't get too hung up on what you read on there. Anyone can add/remove credits (although they are "checked" by IMDB), there is no requirement to show evidence regarding what is listed.

Horror is where it's at. I'm a Horror Fan (as you may have guessed from my films!).
The Horror Film Community are incredibly loyal, and some of the loveliest people I have met.

Re: About Death (Sobre la Muerte)
I have mixed feelings about this. And I'll tell you why; I didn't see 'About Death', so can't truly comment on that film. But whenever I watch a film at BIAFF and see a ton of 'funding' logos in the end credits, I always feel a little frustrated. Purely because the film I have just watched has had s...

Just found out that the short film I directed 'Treble Clef' grabbed itself a 5 Star Award. Very happy with that.
