I rather agree with Michael, Peter.....Judge's can only comment on what they see. How a film is made, whether it be shot in a single day or over two years in a rain forest is an irrelevance. A film either entertains, intrigues and 'holds' the attention of the audience or it does not. I am astonished...

I can vividly recall a Judge's comment upon one of my films from a few year's back: ".....it would be good to see you exercise your talent on something more worthwhile!" LOL .... well, I AM doing my best! As a rule, I respect individual Judge's points of view and their remarks which relate to my fil...

Hi and well done to All the Competitors.....it is never easy to open a "results letter" for the BIAFF Competition. It is even more difficult to read the Judge's critiques! However I am gratified to have a couple of Five Star films in my bag this year and generous 'comments' from the adjudicators.......

Here is another brilliant film. SPIDER: Spider does not rely on the 'manipulation' of the audience by the Director...what you see is what you get. The economy of style in Spider is superb..within a few frames from the start of the project the audience can sense the 'atmosphere'. Every shot, silence ...
