So which system is best? I don`t know. Don`t ask me! It is best to go with a scoring system or go with the general feel of it! I`m mixed over this. I feel that a film has to have the basic things done perfect like good clean edits, the sound that is crystal clear, you can hear each word perfectly, a...

I love the traveling experience and when I go anywhere or on holiday, I always look out of the window, staring. I`m into keeping Tropical Fis...

The weather is glorius. What am I doing here!
Dear all, The subject says it all but I have just experienced a fantastic event. As most of you all know, I am a keen Motorcyclist and I ride my motorcycle when I can. Everyday! Anyway...... Every year, my Island holds an event for Scooterists. Not the kiddie one`s, but all things Vespa`s. It is sta...

Will it catch on? I don`t know. Bronze to Gold seems better then stars  People know that Gold is better then Bronze. And having the word Gold on a certificate seems better then a few stars. But, who am I to question this change. I myself don`t like it, but then, I don`t like change! I hope peo...

Thank you Dave for your answer. Were see what happens. I do believe that it would be a good tool to use for the IAC. If any of the top Brass at the IAC do any lectures etc or are on a membership drive, then it could be used then. What about for those members of the forum who want a copy, pay the IAC...

The IAC`s 75th Film
I was just wondering (as I do most of the time) if the IAC`s 75th Annaversary film is ever going to be put onto the IAC`s website? Some of us specialy filmed Self-Interviews for the film. I know we can get it from the IAC`s library, but I don`t really want to pay to watch it seeing alot of us gave u...

Here are just a few observations I have made at home this week, concering Viewing pictures from a disc. I have a Sony DVD player and a Samsung DVD Recorder both under the TV. We had some wedding photo`s put onto disc at Boots, done in Kodak Format. The Sony would not play it. The Samsung, no problem...

Willy (risking his neck ? ) Do you know Willy (my friend), my finger was starting to hover over the mouse, ready to hit the reply button. Then I noticed the above sentence!!!! The longest time I spent on a film is proberly only about 4 weeks if you compress everything into days without rest. I find the filming is the quickest thing to do. When I film, I tend to just get on with it and get into it. While I film and act, I have more ideas. But one needs to know when to stop...

Re: TV VIEWING OF DVD's
Is it just me and my old eyes or is a fact that when I play back DVD's I have burnt myself, they appear to be visually more acceptable on a CRT television than on a LCD television? Roy Alexander It may be you Roy but......................! I havn`t seen any of my work on a LCD TV. CRT Televisions t...

Have you the fantastic girl's phone number?? If yes, then come on Ian, share it out!!!!! Er, NO! I`m a family man born and bred  !! There would be too much at stake and too much to lose if I was tempted. Believe it or not, I don`t like to hurt peoples feeling. Now give me a videocamera and a...

I see where your coming from and I agree with you. The production will be a better polished affair. The only thing I see (and in my heart) is that I would not put a film that has semi-pro people (who worked on it) into the IAC competition or any other ameauture one. That`s just me. If people do it, ...

Again in this forum, we have touched the personal preferences thing. One person believes in one thing and the other person believes in something else. I think this forum and it`s members have matured a bit   :o ! A year ago we would be at each others throats and then saying our `sorry`...
