Going off on a bit of a tangent we have members of our club who are shooting and editing quite good films on an Ipad, all in HD. We can show the films using our club projector if they are copied onto a memory stick which our Blu-ray player will happily handle. The problem comes if we want to amalgam...

Changing a 4:3 ratio video to 16:9

There was an article on how to do this in FVM earlier in 2008, Can anybody remember which issue it was in ? OR tell me if it can be done in Premiere 6,5

PAL to NTSC using Canopus Procoder

Could you share your experience using Procoder to transcode PAL files to NTSC please. What is Procoder Express, I couldn't find this on the Grass Valley site? There is news of a new version, v3 to be released in the near future and hope this addresses HD and HDV. Thanks Ned C I have used Procoder 2...

DIY NTSC DVDs

To create NTSC DVDs you need to convert your video from AVI or MPEG2 into an NTSC form of MPEG2. Canopus Procoder or
Procoder Express will do this.
Then author and burn your DVD with software that can produce NTSC output e.g Ulead DVD Workshop
