I have known of big name festivals that charge lots of cash for you to submit your film, only to have never watched your film when they reject it and still keep the entrance fee. Yep. My film 'Dead Air' has always received feedback that it was not long enough, and that the audience wanted more. But that was always its aim.

That's a fair point Dave. I do think it's worth investigating though. We're still providing people with a rating regarding their work, maybe non-members get a limited critique, with members getting a fuller one?
