Need to use a police car in a film scene
Can anyone suggest the best way to either get the use of a genuine police car or create one. If you create a dummy police car do you need permission from the local police authority? The same question about using actors in police uniform.
Thanks

Re: Jameela Boardman's Article FVM October 2019
This has been a long and detailed discussion and the recent publication of Jameela’s article in the October FVM might encourage more members to contribute to the forum. My own observation is why are we using so much of our membership fees on the printed version of the FVM, when a digital version pub...

Clubroom/Film theatre upgrade due to Covid 19
The Edinburgh Cine & Video Society Clubrooms, including our 54 seat cinema, has been closed since March and it will be a long time before club meetings and events can take place. This is also due to the older age profile of our members and many have said they will not return until several issues...

LED lighting green hue
While taking a video in a coal mine I used aTriopo LED panel light, due to size and being battery operated, and the resulting footage when played back had a distinct green hue. The LED light is dimmable and can be adjusted between 3200K and 5600K using alternative rows of LED to create the colour t...
