Re: Copying timeline to USB flash drive

Hello Dave. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I have had a lot on and the flash card went onto the back burner-as they say. Yes, I wanted to save the film onto the flash drive. As you say it was quite easy to transfer it to the flash drive, but it wouldn't play on my DVD player, a Panasonic. At the ne...

Capturing on Elements 9

I have been capturing mini DV tapes from my Panasonic VCR for years. That is until recently. My problem is that when editing on Elements 9 and I click on get media the programme recognizes the VCR and the recording window comes up with the red record light. If it did not recognize the player it woul...

If it has a yellow error flag, delete the device and restart the computer. It should find it and install the drivers for it.
Thank you Billy. All sorted now.

Re: A guide to a PC's specifcation

John, exactly how are you linking the computer and camera? I guess that you are using a cable. Is it to a USB port or to a Firewire port? Same question for the player. Thank you for your prompt reply Dave. Yes I am linked to the PC by firewire exactly as it was before I installed Windows 7. I've be...

This is a question, I have had my computer changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 home premium.
Now my computer does not recognize my Sony A1 camera or my Panasonic DV rec/player.
Can you help please?

DVD burning with Elements 9

I have installed Premier Elements 9 onto my computer and when I click on, make DVD, I get the message, No burners found. I also have Premier Pro CS5 installed and that burns OK via Encore.
I am on Windows 7 and my computer is 62 bit. HELP.

Re: Downloading Panasonic P2 cards

I don't use P2 or CS5 but I'd take a guess that the files can be categorised by date and time (as you'd like) but also by file size. Is this what's jumbling them up? I've found the answer on the internet written by a Barry Green. I needced to create a P2 metadata file on the cameras SD memory card....

Downloading Panasonic P2 cards

Can anybody out there tell me why footage shot on my P2 card is not in chronological order when transfered to Adobe Premier Pro CS5 PC via P2 viewer?
