Re: Free editing software
Hi Ned. I understand that the VSDC editor is definately not for beginners. Apparantly there are a lot of important things you can't do with it. I've looked at a few review Apps and they all say the same. Cheers and stay safe

Re: VideoPad
Hi. I have by accident found out a disturbing fact about th way this company conducts its business. In the very small print it says once you have purchased the Videopad programme, after six months, updates are available and your current license is invalidated. It appears that you have to pay for an ...

Re: Magix movie edit pro premium
Hi Tom. Thanks for your interest. I searched you tube for a tuition before posting on this forum. Alas I only found two tutorials, lne by Magix themselves which I couldn't understand and another by a company where the totor gave such a rushed verbal explanation in a very quick American dialect that ...

Magix movie edit pro premium
I hope someone can help me. I have successfully complete making a video on the time line of magix movie edit pro premium programme but I can't fathom out how to make a Blu Ray video disc from it. I don't understand the jargon and so can't fill in the panels which appear when I click onto burn. If so...

Re: VideoPad
Hi Jill. If your beginner is using the Windows editor, I assume that she has mastered the basics of editing etc. So may I suggest that she try Da Vinci resolve. As it is free, she'll have nothing to lose financially if it doesn't suit her. Best of luck to her, It's always nice to hear of people want...

Re: VideoPad
Tim. You may be right but maybe you are assuming that everybody has the same degree of learning power. e.g some people pass exams and others fail. The failures can be quite brilliant in other aspects of life. Stay safe.

Jill. This may or maynot be of help to you. If you are using Windows 10 you can download an app called Photos App which replaces Windows Movie Maker. This allows you to edit your videos and it is completely free. It aims to help beginners

Re: VideoPad
JILL. I have or had the Unlicensed for home use only version. I have now removed it from my PC as I have learned how to use the programme. . It was only something to do whilst in lock down. I am now re-editing some of my videos using Adobe CS6 as something to do. I really don't know of any really fr...

Re: VideoPad
Jill. I can only speak about my own experience. I am denied any type of export at all so I can't even make an MP4 file unless I purchase the Video Editor. Maybe there are two different downloads. The free one which I am using, and a download of a trial of the pro version. The latter would have a tim...

Re: VideoPad
Hi Jill and Ned. Regarding VideoPad editor. I am afraid the NCH website's blurb about what the free version user can do is misleading. Yes the editor will always edit and all the FX and title FX's will be there, But what the free version user can't do is to export the timeline to make Discs etc. I h...

Re: VideoPad
Ned. I am using the free version. I have never been asked to upgrade. Although the free version is for non commercial home use, you can actually upload to you Tube as long as you don't receive money from You Tube. Regarding features disapearing, and I might be wrong about this, The suite is availabl...

Re: VideoPad
I have been using this editor every day for a month and none of the features have disapeared so far. I have just completed a 17 minute video with many effects, titles etc. and put the result onto a Blu-ray disc. All straight forward and no problem. Perhaps I have been lucky.
