Re: Jameela
As for social media ... I find my own Facebook and Twitter feeds remarkably quiet. Is it because with so little happening, there is less to discuss? So typical of you, Dave Watterson, to talk about yourself, and promote your own Facebook and Twitter feeds. Shall we concentrate on what's wrong with ...

Re: FILM & VIDEO MAKER MAGAZINE
Maybe we could make the FVM magazine even smaller. It’s really quite simple. Please take a careful look at the December 2019 issue. Reducing the size of the photograph on page 6. Pano view Action Cam Reducing the size of the photograph on page 8. Phone as a view-finder Reducing the size of the photo...

FILM & VIDEO MAKER MAGAZINE
Just a quick thought but, Now that the Film & Video Maker Magazine has grown by 2 pages (from 36 sides to 40 sides of paper), will the IAC assure its loyal readers that we will be able to squeeze the next 12 issues of this fine and wonderful magazine into the current blue magazine binder? After ...

So please tell us Jon, because we've all been waiting
since you last wrote on Sunday 19 May 2019. What exactly
did you like about the old back cover?

Re: FVM Magazine May 2019
At long last.
After five years of waiting
for a change to the back cover of the
FVM magazine, the IAC has finally
decided to bring their magazine up to date.
Or is it really up to date?
Will this be for one issue only?

Re: FVM MAGAZINE - FEBRUARY 2019
My very last chance before you all take over and waffle on endlessly about BIAFF for the next three months, all through the summer, and to the end of the year and beyond. Will the time ever arrive when Dave Watterson contacts Linda Gough, the president of this wonderful organisation, the IAC, and in...

Re: FVM MAGAZINE - FEBRUARY 2019
Yes Dave, you’re right, quite right. I do understand that the committee is very busy and have a lot to do, and as you say Dave, they are having to run BIAFF themselves this year, and with the judging weekend coming up, they have their work cut out. And, as you say Dave, they are also involved in the...

Re: FVM MAGAZINE - FEBRUARY 2019
The subject of the outdated FVM magazine was started three weeks ago on Saturday 19th January 2019. Now, three weeks later, the same people who always write on the forum anyway, are the only ones who’ve replied, made any comments, or responded. However, nearly all of them, I notice, also write or ha...

FVM MAGAZINE - FEBRUARY 2019
I have been reading the IAC ‘Film & Video Maker’ for about ten years now. The first issue I can remember was dated December 2009. In ‘The Chairman’s Chat’ on page 5 of the February 2019 issue, on paragraph two, it states that, ‘He (Garth Hope) has moved into the modern magazine era and made a pr...

Re: FVM MAGAZINE - DECEMBER 2014
Nearly four years on, and nothing has changed. If you're really concerned about the end of BIAFF and the end of the IAC, and you are concerned about the lack of new members, and more importantly wondering why very few members under the age of forty are not joining us, and the fact that very few youn...

Re: 8mm film scanners
Dear Roy1,
I forgot to mention, but you'll see it when you read it.
The Widescreen Centre is selling off their film transfer equipment,
so might well be interested in buying it from them.
