I just returned home to discover two packages. One containing my usual copy of FVM and another containing a further TWO copies. I can only assume someone erroneously has my name as recipient for a club - though which club, I have no idea!

Seems there has been a cock-up in the distribution - quite a few folks reporting that they got three copies. Dear me! It shouldn't be that difficult.

Anyway, they're here now and I hope you enjoy this issue.

Dear Martin,
Up to now I have received not received the August issue.
I am patient, you know, but it is just to inform you.
And I am an overseas member of the IAC.

I have received it. Many thanks. I like "Film & Video Maker". Can't miss it. Congratulations to the editor, his "staff", the regulars, etc... The contents is very interesting. I also love the Lay Out. The editor wrote in the introduction: "... "Milky Way". This article is best read in a Belgian accent." I don't know what you mean by this, Martin? Are there any mistakes in it?

Has anyone yet worked which maps form the "undercurrent" of the pages?

No mistakes at all Willy. The tiniest bit of tongue in cheek humour. No offence intended. Ever. It was an article about a Belgian by a Belgian.

There was only a map beneath the pages of the article about SCMM with Kevin Billington. It was an open source map of the general Sutton Coldfield area. Not intended to be used for navigation purposes. Rather they are designed to add the lightest colour tone to lift the page from plain white - of which I am not a fan.

My copy as not arrived; usually here quite quickly. Have other overseas members received their copies?

The IAC-secretary sent it to me after I had told him I was waiting for it. That was about two weeks ago. His name is David. My friends Mary and Peter Rouillard from Guernsey were surprised to have received three copies, I remember. Apparently quite a lot of things went wrong, David said. He was puzzled.
