YouTube comments.

Can anyone tell me how I can reply to comments made about my videos on YouTube. It used to be so simple but since Google has taken over YouTube nothing seems simple anymore. I ought to thank those viewers who make kind comments of my work and I wish I knew how to do it.

If you have received the comment by email you should be able to reply by answering the email. I got a comment last week on an Audacity tutorial I had posted on there & I think that's is how I replied. However I agree, YouTube is a mine field at present, in particular false flagging non copyright music.
