These BMD cameras do seem to have potential but, by the time you add a decent lens, a mike you have something a bit more likely but not exactly an easy camera to handle, another but, the recording to either Prores or DNG is a great plus point as bit these formats are excellent for editing.

So is it small enough to take anywhere I would say no, a Panny 9xx camcorder is by far a better take anywhere camcorder or for that matter any of their Lumix cameras, or dare I say it even your iphone S.
