DAVE. Thanks for clearing up the matter of drive letters. By the way am I right (probally not) in assuming that if you have 2 flashdrives connected to the PC it is not possible to transfer matter from one to the other. It wouldn't work for me. I had to transfer from one flashdrive back on to the internal harddrive and from there copy to the new flashdrive.

It seems to be possible on my machine ... I just transferred a photo from one thumb drive to another. It may depend on exactly how everything is configured - but that is just my guess.
