Canon Pixma iP4600 will not print DVDs

Since getting a new PC to run on Windows 7 my Canon printer will still print photos but not DVDs.
I have reinstalled the programme from the disc that came with the printer.
Any ideas that a simpleton can follow, please?

We had a very similar problem with my Wife's PC a couple of years ago.
She also has a Canon printer (a different model to yours) and the new Windows 7 installation did not like the files on the disc when I tried to install the software.
A download from the Canon website of specific drivers and software for Windows 7 did the trick

Thanks for your help again, Colin. Actually managed it! Wonder why 'they' always have to 'improve' things - the previous version seemed easier to use.
