I expect Atta is setting up a page of results in the
annual North v South competition ... but on this forum
we should celebrate the success of our own Ken Wilson
whose "Knock Knock" took top place.

Congratulations, Ken.

Anyone who wants a sneak peek at a still from the movie
need only read the "conversation" with Ken - see the
links on the front page of the IAC website.

I was able to see the final, and it was a cracking film feast. Much of the
acting and production was superb. Newcastle club was packed and the free-of-charge
catering was first class. The only thing which didn't happen was a mention
from any of the judges, which I would have liked as part of the day.

Yes absolutely. I hope that it is not immodest of me to say so, but it was
a very good show and there was some excellent ideas and acting.
Newcastle deserve praise for rescuing the Northern end of the show after
Altrincham couldn`t continue with it. Yes the room was full and more chairs
had to be brought in. The free catering was excellent (though as we are dieting
we couldn`t take full advantage)but I think a small charge could have been
made for their club funds.
Well done to everyone concerned.
Ken.
