The cheese festival in Cheddar (Somerset) or Stilton (Cambridgeshire). Once I made the film "Olde Worlde Charm". It was about East Anglia. I visited Stilton to see if special cheese was prepared in that village, but there was only the main street and that was it.Souterman wrote:The cold water film festival in Coldstream
Once I was also in Cheddar to see Cheddar Gorge, but I didn't find any cheddar factory either. The place was lovely, but no cheese.
In Yorkshire there is Wensleydale, etc... A board with a selection of English cheeses after your meal ! Delicious ! Hopefully I will ever find the time to make a film about the Yorkshire Dales... with the title "All Creatures great and Small". That was a fantastic TV-serial. I enjoyed it very much.
