An IAC member using Adobe Elements 7 and CS3 wanted to record to tape, just after 3 minutes the recording stopped and "can't record copyright" came on screen.
This happened separatelt with both CS3 and Elements 7 with the same project.
He was able to burn a DVD which got him out of trouble with Elements 7.
Has any one experienced this and how did they get rid of the restriction?

Re: "can't record copyright"
Dave, what was he recording from? I sometimes make DVD's from programmes that I have recorded on to the hard drive in the Virgin Cable Box by re recording that on to tape. I then take it into my edit system and make a DVD in the normal way. When I try and do this from the 'Catch Up' application within the Virgin system, it won't allow me to re record. Could that be similar to the problem you are referring to?

Re: "can't record copyright"
I will try to find out. I quoted his email. He had been trying to get it on to the NLE mailing group without success.
