White Balance and Exposure Control

Post by edin »

Has anyone experience of using the Lastolite Ezy Balance product to set their video camera white balance and exposure (using the grey side)? What is the calibration process?

You don't say what camera you've got edin, but generally video cameras give you an auto setting for white balance, a selection of typical situations and a manual setting. Using the grey card or the white side (it matters not which) select the manual setting and hold down the camcorder's button associated with this setting. The manual w/bal icon should blink while the colour balance is being set and remain stable to let you know the operation has been completed.
