Medieval and Tudor music recordings

Post by TimStannard »

Just on the off-chance ...
I'm making a documentary about an archeological dig and I need some suitable later medieval and Tudor music. I could do with a regal fanfare or two as links and some suitable for montages (dance or sacred).
This wouldn't necessarily be a problem if could use the IAC licence, but, whilst the film is strictly amateur, versions will be used by the Friend of Woking Palace in talks they give and on permanent display at a local museum.
So I'm looking for buy-out (but cheap - I'm not getting expenses), free or public domain.

Any suggestions?

Update: I've come across some sacred music by New Zealand groups "Tudor Consort" which is available for use under the Creative Commons 3 licence "With Attribution". How fantastic of them to make that available.

For anyone interested here's the link: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/The_T ... li_Laudes/.

So I'm covered for some more solemn background stuff, but I still need to find some suitable fanfares and lighter instrumental music.
