vimeo
Hi. Can anyone tell me how to delete my video on Vimeo. I must of made a mistake in the GB's allowed on the basic membership. My video is only uploaded to half of it's length so it's useless to shop. I've tried the Vimeo helpline and can't find anyway of asking the particular question. I will be gra...

Re: super 8 bauer projector repairs
Thanks for that info Tom. I never knew that as I had no need to use speed control in those days. Actually I only used the Elmo to screen Public Shows at a local cinema for the Newcastle ACA. It filled a 12ft screen with no problem. I have borrowed a Bauer T502 to do some transfers from Super 8 to Di...

Re: super 8 bauer projector repairs
I'll have to check the sound again on the Elmo. It started with the amp making crackling noises before going dead, I suspected it might be a dry joint. But I'm to old to start messing on. The last transfer I did with a Eumig which I could speed control to match the Cam and therefore no Flicker and h...

Re: super 8 bauer projector repairs
Hi Tom. it's either the claw or the gate assembly as the trouble started with the film just sliding through the gate with the sprocket holes being engaged. But now it simply won't thread at all and the leader just gets ripped up. I have three other projectors two of which suffer the same problem and...

Re: Blu-ray discs
HI John. I use BD-RE discs just to check that my finished video is how I want it before burning to a BD-R. For final BD-R I always use Aone discs. They have never failed me after using about a hundred and they are cheap. Unfortunately they don't make BD-RE. I'll try TDK rewritable. Thanks for sugges...

Blu-ray discs
Hi. Can anyone recommend a brand of BD-RE discs that are reliable. I have bought Verbatim BD-RE and they don't work. I always thought that Verbatim were excellent but times change I guess.

Re: usb connections
Hi. Thanks Guys for the info. Actually I have just discovered that all my Blu-ray players have got USB sockets and I have played movies using a USB flash Drive. As for years I have used the player only to play videos via the remote so I have never needed to open the flap at the front of the unit, th...

usb connections
HI. I am toying with the idea of buying a Blu-ray player with a USB connection. Am I right in assuming that to play a video on a USB memory stick using the player I would also have to have a TV with a USB port. If this is so, there is no point in buying a new blu ray player as I could simply place t...

Re: IMGburn unexpected result
Hi John. Thanks for your thoughts about this. I didn't make any commands to the IMGburn process, I simply clicked on to start the process and let it get on with it. All my Blu-ray discs have when transferred as BD ISO's and they have been burnt onto standard DVD discs as HD videos and the LG player ...

IMGburn unexpected result
Hi. I wonder if someone can explain this happy result. Recently I had a large capacity Hard drive fail and I lost a lot of saved videos. I have tried using IMGburn to create ISO's from a discs. It works great and quick however I have found that an original Blu-ray disc full of effects and 30 mins in...

HI. I have saved a file made with Adobe CS5 premiere Pro and am trying to import it to another PC with CS6 premiere Pro. I get a message saying that the file was made with another Premiere Pro version and needs to be converted for it to play on CS6. As it is my animated logo on the file, I do need t...

Re: Mic into PC for V/O
Hi. Pete. Before I learnt how to do complicated sound. I used to record a voice over onto the camera using a normal mini tape cassette. I then captured this onto the timeline of Adobe premiere pro. and matched the sound to the picture This was very easy to do, and as the PC was switched off whilst t...
