80TH Birthday Prezzy ___ a Drone!

Never ventured outside PAL and using Edius 7 I have never had to cope with 30fps which the Drone produces.
The files are .avi but I cannot find Edius's converter. Please help

Re: 'IN MEMORIAM'

I like what you have done and think that a lot more films of a similar composition will help future generations to be better educated as regards their heritage. Did you have any trouble with YouTube and Copyright? I note your Credit at the start of the film. I have just done an AV for my Brother of ...

Re: Heritage Day 2013

Hi Tony, Your timing is great as I am reviewing past comments from all sources as I plan a visit to Iceland next month and wish to make an interesting film as well as making a permanent record of a special trip. I am planning an outline storyboard and a Do's Check list as well as Do Nots. Thank you ...

Web site address needed for a Group of Film makers that ....

Hello All, Last January there was a vibrant discussion on Clubs and membership. One of the regular contributors to the Forums mentioned that there was a Grup of Film makers who met on a regular in Pubs and other public locations to discuss all things re Films. He gave the web site and I found that t...

Re: Heritage Day 2013

Hi Both, Re make no 3 Started, for 2014 Autumn, this business of film making is like roasting a side of Beef, it needs resting during process. We had a "look back" evening at the Club last month when we were asked to show some of our early efforts. A lot did not produce any films but those...

Re: HD TM900 Error Messages.

Thanks Tom, I suspect that there is a deep seated problem in the electronics although I feel that the Static argument could be very persuasive. Tell me was Cine ever like this? The SD card came from Calumac, I have 4 of them and used them in all sorts of conditions from the heat of Zambia to the Jan...

Re: HD TM900 Error Messages.

Col, Thank you, I do not understand about Firmware within the Camera. The Panasonic site does not indicate that you can update the Camera's systems. I note your advice re the Card. The moment of truth is at hand, Off to walk the dogs and I have prepared a test set of shots to see if I can recreate t...

Re: HD TM900 Error Messages.

Thank you all for your contributions. I cannot tell whether I have lost any shots because I did not keep a shooting diary of shots and was shooting in 10 to 30 sec bursts throughout the match and so do not know if any shots have gone. (I have the shot of the important try!) What was on the card and ...

HD TM900 Error Messages.

I have a HD-TM900 Panasonic Camcorder. It has just had its power dc connector repaired and I took the camera out to test it this pm. after about 20 minutes I got error messages, roughly in this sequence. I was not using a tripod. I was using image stabilisation but ended up getting the same messages...

Re: Looking Forward.

Hi John, All new concepts require teasing out and discussion but can wander from the key factor which is how to use our mountain of good material to entice new members into the IAC family, either as individual members or for them to join a Member Club. MY Concept is; 1 An IAC Member Club has competi...

Re: Looking Forward.

Hi Dave and John, Nobody could sensibly disagree with the points you raise, but they only refer to existing members. I understand we are trying to get our name out to the people who are not members yet. I wonder if the "powers that be" are too close to Competition Standards and have forgot...

Looking Forward.

In April's edition of F&VM the Chairman poses some questions regarding the attraction of new members, both Individuals and Clubs, how to raise awareness of the IAC by people not familiar with the organisation etc etc. In my struggles to become a better film maker the IAC have provided many helpf...

Re: Heritage Day 2013

Frank, I like it better and better as I trim it down and leave a few facts for the viewer to find out for themselves, particularly as I have now stated where the cathedral Quarter is !!! When you have no one to discuss a film with you have no idea how helpful you and the others on the Forum have bee...
