Re: Chris Kenny - RIP
First Keith Baker and now Chris Kenny......unbelievable.
2015 is a sad year for CFVM so far. Both gentlemen will be sorely missed and club nights will never be the same.

Re: sequences in Adobe CS5
Thats strange, as soon as I fill up the timeline with sequences I get a scroll bar appear as you can see from the picture below. http://captureinmotion.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Capture.jpg Only thing I can suggest is going to window/workspace and resetting your current workspace or trying a di...

Re: sequences in Adobe CS5
I think I get what you're saying. Once the display is full a very thin grey horizontal slider bar should appear just above the sequences tabs. You should be able to left click on it and drag it left and right to show the latest sequences. Best idea is to keep them closed and not displayed at all if ...

Re: IAC Merchandise
If you're desperate, Kevin, I can sell you a Staines Video Makers one ;) LOL thanks Tim but I dont think that would go down to well at the next CFVM club night :) Sorry Kevin. This is my reply from Linda Gough: Unfortunately the caps have been removed from sale. The orders took too long to be suppl...

IAC Merchandise
Just a quick question. On the merchandise page of the website I can see a picture of someone wearing an IAC baseball cap, but on the order form it's not there. Have these been discontinued?
I hope not, I wanted to buy one.
Thanks

Re: Rolling titles on CS5
Roy, I've just tried it in CS6 and with these settings. I did not move any text, change font or anything else. type - Roll start off screen - ticked end off screen - ticked all other options set to zero I had 10 frames of black before the title scrolled, but not 10 seconds and it worked fine. You pr...

Re: Rolling titles on CS5
I've never bothered with the pre-roll to be honest, I've always left it blank and set it to start off screen and end off screen. Then adjusted the speed by extending/shortening the clip. This may sound silly but have you checked you haven't got a 10 secs slither of footage hidden at the end of your ...

Re: Blurred video when played on time line.
You are very welcome Pete, I'm glad I could help
It is a very useful feature in Premier and one to remember, it does save a fair bit of processing power if you're working with a big project.
Cheers,
Kev

Re: Blurred video when played on time line.
Have you got your playback resolution set to half and your paused resolution set to full by any chance?
right click in the middle of your display viewer and see what it is set to, its all I can think of I'm afraid.

Re: BIAFF 2014
Hi all, I hope you all had a good time at SERIAC, I sadly had to work :( I've heard from my club that I received a 'commended' for my music video, but as this is the first time I've ever entered the competition I'm not sure how the scoring works. It's easy to understand with the BIAFF, stars, diamon...
